Well, I did it!
Today is Saturday, and I declared it a day to do whatever I wanted to do.
I had no idea that after I washed my face and was inspired by another comment on Social Media that I would just bite the bullet, open the Anchor app, start a new account, and take off and create my podcast channel to compliment this blog.
But, I did.
And, I'm glad I did.
Now it won't be so many steps between getting to say what I want to say to the world - out to the world.
Even if no one listens to it, I still need to say it... or I may just keep talking my children's ears off with things they just don't want, or need, to know right now. LOL :)
So, here I go!
Let's see where the airwaves lead me and how brave I get to be.
I just know something I say's gonna help somebody. :)
Use me Lord how you see fit. Here I am.

Send me a message and let me know what you are interested in me talking about.

To the Put-Together Christian Mothers with Babies &Toddlers,
I walked into the public library today with the intention of catching up on some work, but I saw you pulling up and getting out of your stylish SUV's with your sweet children on hip or in hand.
I just watched as some of you looked so cute, so put together, so calm.
One wearing trendy olive green colored leggings as pants and an above the waist shirt, with your body clearly able to be shown off proudly in them. Your highlighted hair pulled up in a high messy ponytail, yet nothing about your life appeared to be messy. You carried your young daughter with curly blonde hair on your hip. You both looked beautiful, and happy. You looked like the kind of woman I would have been trying to distract my husband from.
Another one of you walking across the parking lot with your pressed khaki shorts, not too short to be provocative, but not too long to cover any cellulite that you did not have. Your lean, tone, and tan body shown with ...

She runs and runs,
laughing and giggling,
thinking she’s outrunning him.
He plays along,
letting her run ahead,
and finally he grabs her,
and they giggle and laugh
with a playful embrace.
Daddy - you caught me.
I am yours.
You see me.
I am important to you.
As she grows,
she explores other things
not asking for him to play along.
He lets her explore alone,
but when her heart breaks,
she thinks...
Daddy hold me.
I can’t take the pain.
I need to feel safe
and guided wisely through the strain.
Daddy – you held me.
I am yours.
You see me.
I am important to you.
Years later,
daddy passed away.
She looked for comfort
in her heavenly Father.
I will catch you, He says.
Come to Me.
I’ll go before you.
Father, you caught me.
I am yours.
You see me.
I am important to you.

Around December 2020, I started my typical path of trying to clean up the year's files and piles, and start getting ready for 2021.
Over the course of a few weeks, I spent hours looking through various online planner options ...
This week, I have started watching the Global Cancer Symposium.
While you can watch it free during the week of February 8th, 2021, I went ahead and purchased the $67 package (before it began) to get access to all of the speakers audio files and transcripts, as well as whatever free bonus gift they were offering.
Looking back, I cannot believe I had any hesitation to make this investment! (I highly recommend you go ahead and invest in the package that offers all the speaker content already on the USB drive - would be worth the time saved.)
I spent over two hours just clicking all the links and downloading the information and getting the free PDF gifts. I ended up printing a lot of information and started creating file folders for each major topic being covered. There is A LOT of information to sort through!
(I highly recommend you buy a Black & White or Color Laser Printer for your home as digital e-books are becoming the norm and inkjet printing gets way too expensive. I also have ...
I was in a cheap small car in front of the house of my best friend growing up.
There was a man trying to help me with the car. Apparently it was malfunctioning in some way and he was going to teach me how to get it to work correctly. He approached the car, and I was embarrassed because when he opened the door - there was trash all over. I was trying to get it in a trash bag and asking my children (beside and behind me) to do the same. [This part of the dream makes sense to my reality as we are messy with our cars and I typically have dreams about clutter. Clearly the problem is bothering me.]
Suddenly, we noticed a van with a bunch of guys causing trouble in the cul-de-sac behind us. They were rowdy and obnoxious. When we noticed they had turned their attention to us, the man suggested we go into his house for safety, just in case. This man looked like he was straight out of Israel (skin color, beard and all).
We followed his instructions and drove the car into his driveway and pa...
I have been thinking about and planning how to help the homeless (or even people on the edge of getting back from homelessness) for many years. This has been a dream and vision I believe the Lord gave me years ago. It delights me to see cities starting to fulfill this by purchasing hotel properties to get our homeless off the streets and into housing. I am not sure if any overall strategy has been developed for what to do after that step is done - so I am adding my thoughts here - in hopes that they will be helpful.

To The Austin City Council Helping the Homeless with Hotels
(& Other City Councils buying hotels for homeless),
We must do more than move our homeless population to housing locations.
There must be an overall strategy and plan for discerning the status of each person/family and assisting them with their goals to either maintain or improve their economic status and quality of life. I highly discourage just moving people off the street and into these facilities w...
Dear Austin Residents,
Yesterday, I heard that your City Council was taking action on buying hotels to try to solve the problem of homelessness in your city. I was overjoyed, as this has been a vision of mine for many years - that we would have a network of hotels nationwide that could be established as residences and rehabilitation programs for people who have found themselves battling homelessness.
This morning I woke up with this heavy on my heart. As a Social Worker graduate and fellow citizen who has lived in the "middle class" most of my life, I think I understand your concerns. However, as a Christian and someone who was temporarily thrown into poverty for at least five years, I also have a unique perspective I hope to bring to this conversation.
When I looked up the news story last night, I was sad to find the videos of some of your residents protesting. I want to offer my response to the concerns raised in hopes that a larger understanding towards the homeless population w...
